Increasing automation in industrial environments and in our everyday lives require autonomously moving robots, which take over repetitive and, gradually, more demanding tasks. The Toposens 3D ultrasonic sensor can supply your robot with necessary information about its near-field environment. Objects can be detected in 3D, optimally protecting the robot from any obstacles, including protruding or transparent objects.

Toposens is providing an API for ROS (Robot Operating System), which is supporting our sensors starting with the TS3. This interface makes it significantly easier to get started with the technology and integrate our ultrasonic sensors into advanced robotic systems. It allows to adapt all configurable parameters of the sensor directly from ROS.

All ROS packages are open source and accessible on our public Gitlab repository.
